The-Dream Denies Rape and Battery Allegations
The-Dream denies rape, sexual battery, and sex trafficking allegations made by musician Chanaaz Mangroe (Channii Monroe) in a new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles. Mangroe claims The-Dream subjected her to abuse and manipulation, promising career advancements in exchange for joining his “sanctuary.” The-Dream calls the allegations “untrue and defamatory,” emphasizing his commitment to opposing harassment and supporting artists.
“These claims are untrue and defamatory. I oppose all forms of harassment and have always strived to help people realize their career goals”
He adds, “as someone committed to making a positive impact on my fellow artists and the world at large, I am deeply offended and saddened by these accusations.”
