Rich The Kid Ordered To Pay Fashion Nova $130,000 Over Contract Dispute

The rapper has been ordered to pay the popular online brand Fashion Nova over $130,000 in damages. According to reports, Rich owes the clothing boutique total of $132,637.75 after a “default judgment” was entered against him in the Los Angeles County Courts. A default is entered when one party fails to respond to a lawsuit. The sum includes $100,000 in damages, $29,526 in interest, and $3,111 in costs associated with the case.

According to reports, the 28-year-old rapper allegedly breached his contract with the company, consisting of an endorsement deal to promote the brand. Rich the Kid was said to have been paid $100,000 advance to be signed with the company. Once onboard, his contract was to include him doing a number of promotions, including mentioning the company on social media and giving a shout-out to them in one of his songs. Fashion Nova says he failed to do so leaving them with 2.1 million in damages
