Reasonable Doubt Returns for Season 4 With New Faces and a New Case

Jax Stewart is back — and the world of Reasonable Doubt is getting even bigger for Season 4.

Hulu’s hit legal drama returns October 6 with Emayatzy Corinealdi reprising her role as powerhouse Los Angeles attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, but this season brings a major lineup of new faces into her already complicated world.

Leading the new additions are Meagan Good and Grammy-nominated R&B singer Durrell “Tank” Babbs, who join the series as new regulars.

Tank steps into the role of Eric Cropper, a wealthy R&B recording artist and longtime client of Jax who is used to getting exactly what he wants. When Eric becomes caught in the middle of a growing media crisis, Jax and The Stewart Firm are pulled into a high-stakes battle that could threaten everything they’ve built.

Meagan Good joins the cast as Regina Harris, a newly appointed district attorney who may be compassionate but certainly isn’t anyone to underestimate.

And the new faces don’t stop there.

La La Anthony joins as Melina Cropper, Eric’s first wife, while Beauty in Black star Taylor Polidore Williams plays Brooke Cropper, his second wife, who is preparing for what could become a heated divorce. DeVaughn Nixon enters the family as Eric’s younger brother and A&R manager, Tyger Cropper.

Rutina Wesley also joins Season 4 as Desiree Grant, a fearless entertainment journalist known for exposing problematic high-profile figures, while Alexxis Lemire plays Layla Love, an artist signed to Eric’s record label.

Meanwhile, familiar faces Morris Chestnut, Joseph Sikora and Brandee Evans are set to return as guest stars alongside series regulars McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo and Angela Grovey.

Season 4 picks up following a brutal attack that leaves Jax’s family and newly established law firm shaken. With grief still lingering and the future of The Stewart Firm hanging in the balance, Jax now has to protect one of her most loyal clients while trying to keep everything around her from falling apart.

Created by Raamla Mohamed and executive produced by Kerry Washington, Reasonable Doubt has continued to carve out its own lane by giving viewers a smart, successful and unapologetically complicated Black woman at the center of a legal drama.

And with Meagan Good, Tank, La La Anthony, Rutina Wesley and more entering Jax Stewart’s world, Season 4 is looking stacked.

Reasonable Doubt Season 4 premieres October 6 on Hulu with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Tuesday.
