Quincy Jones Awarded $9.4 Million From Michael Jackson’s Estate After Accusing Them Of Cutting Out Of Millions In Royalties

Looks like Michael Jackson’s estate will be making Quincy Jones’ pockets a bit fatter after he won his multi-million dollar lawsuit against them. Back in 2013, Jones claimed that the estate owed him royalties and other fees from major hits he produced for the late singer and sued them for $30 million. Well, the verdict came back and yes Jones did score a huge pay day but it wasn’t the amount he originally asked for. The Jackson estate tried to get away with only paying out $400,000 but the jury has decided that the producer was rightfully owed a whopping $9.4 million.
