Pusha T Checks Clout-Chasing YouTuber “The Chain Snatcher’ in Miami

Pusha T kept his cool but made it crystal clear during a tense encounter in Miami with a trolling YouTuber trying to score views off his name.

On Saturday (May 10), aspiring rapper and internet provocateur Steven Jo ran up on the Virginia lyricist while he was in town, confronting him on-camera about not “tapping in” before stepping foot in the city. Known for his chaotic skits and rapper pranks, Steven introduced himself with a bold flex: “I’m a chain snatcher.”

Unfazed, Push calmly responded with a skeptical look, “What you mean?” before dapping him up and brushing it off with a smooth “Okay.” But the energy shifted when Steven tried to backpedal, claiming he was just joking and promoting peace, even requesting a photo with the rapper.

Things escalated when Steven mentioned he was a “Zoe”—shouting out Miami’s notorious Haitian street crew, Zoe Pound. That’s when Push issued a subtle but direct warning: “Ask Zoe about me,” name-dropping Ali Zoe, one of the founders of the clique.

Pusha T then explained why he wasn’t quick to pose for a pic. “You said somethin’ that rubbed me crazy,” he told Steven. “That felt like a threat.” Despite Steven’s repeated claims that it was all a joke, Push wasn’t buying it. “I don’t wanna be gangsta today,” he said firmly, choosing to stay player rather than escalate.

Steven eventually got his photo, claiming he was “pushing peace,” but many who witnessed the exchange saw it for what it was—a clout-chasing stunt gone wrong.

This isn’t Steven Jo’s first time stirring up drama for attention. Just last month, he went viral claiming to have snatched $300K in jewelry from YouTuber Jack Doherty, even dropping a diss track titled “Get Yo Chain Back!”

As for Push, he walked away unbothered—but sent a clear message: play stupid games, and you might get schooled without a single bar.
