Zaria Khadejah Carr—known far and wide as “Dutchess Dior”—was tragically killed by her husband, Shamarcus Jameal Carr (“The Frenchman”), during a live streamed domestic dispute late Saturday night. The couple’s livestream escalated into a fatal confrontation that has shaken fans and hastened outpourings against domestic violence.

Carr was found unconscious at her home in Twin City after police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 9:30 p.m. She was tragically pronounced dead shortly after authorities arrived.

Her husband, Shamarcus was nowhere to be found at the scene. In addition to being missing, he had reportedly fled with Zaria’s Dodge Challenger, prompting law enforcement to issue a statewide alert.

Several hours later, in Wayne County, deputies spotted the vehicle and initiated a pursuit. The chase came to a tragic end when Shamarcus took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound before officers could intervene.

The shocking sequence of events unfolded just hours after the couple was reportedly seen together on social media, where followers had long speculated about ongoing issues in their relationship. Friends and fans of Zaria are now mourning the loss of a vibrant mother, influencer, and entrepreneur whose life was cut short far too soon.

Dutchess Dior had amassed a sizable following online by sharing her journey through motherhood, lifestyle content, and candid relationship updates. Her tragic death has ignited conversations around the signs of domestic violence—many of which, some followers now realize, may have been visible through previous livestreams and posts.
