Missy Elliott & Chaka Khan Among The 2023 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees

Congrats to MissyElliott and Chaka Khan! The two have been named as inductees for the 2023 class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Missy and Chaka joins Willie Nelson, George Michael, Sheryl Crow, DJ Kool Herc, Don Cornelius, The Spinners and more that was included in the official announcement made On Wednesday.
Missy will be inducted under the performer category becoming the first female rapper to be inducted. Chaka Khan will get the Musical Excellence Award.
John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said, “This year’s incredible group of Inductees reflects the diverse artists and sounds that define rock & roll. We are honored that this November’s Induction Ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music culture; the 90th birthday of Willie Nelson and the 50th Anniversary of the birth of Hip Hop.”
