Megan Thee Stallion Unfollows GloRilla After Tory Lanez Song Reshare on Instagram Story — GloRilla Responds
Fans were quick to notice some subtle tension brewing between two of hip-hop’s biggest names this week. Megan Thee Stallion has unfollowed fellow rapper GloRilla on Instagram after GloRilla reposted an Instagram Story featuring a song by Tory Lanez — the same artist convicted in the 2020 shooting involving Megan.
The move didn’t go unnoticed by fans, many of whom took to social media to speculate about the potential fallout. Given the history between Megan and Lanez, the repost appeared to strike a nerve with some of Megan’s supporters.
In response to the growing chatter, GloRilla took to X (formerly Twitter) to clear the air, writing:
“Ion internet shit and I don’t do mess! It was an innocent repost yall bsn.”
The Memphis rapper made it clear she wasn’t trying to stir up drama, but the unfollow speaks volumes for some fans. Whether this marks a deeper rift or a momentary misunderstanding remains to be seen, but one thing’s certain — the internet is watching closely.
