Mayor Eric Adams Introduces New NYC Trash Bins to Combat Rat Problem

Mayor Eric Adams, alongside Department of Sanitation Commissioner Jessica Tisch, unveiled new official NYC trash bins aimed at reducing the city’s rat population. Starting November 12, residential buildings with one to nine units must use these secure, affordable bins.
