Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford is officially leaving Married to Medicine after just two seasons—and she’s making it clear the departure wasn’t by choice.

The Bravo star took to Instagram to confirm her exit from the reality series, responding to a fan who said they were glad she wasn’t returning because of how she was treated on the show. “It definitely was foul,” Lunceford replied. “I really wanted to leave it to my fans to figure out what was going on because know that I’m not a quitter.”

She continued, “Never ever been a quitter. And I never ran away from anybody. It just is what it is. There are better things in store for me. That platform was what it was at the moment and I think God has something better, and I’m going down the right path.”

Lunceford joined Married to Medicine in Season 10 as the new wife of Dr. Greg Lunceford, who was previously married to original cast member Quad Webb. Their complicated history led to tension throughout Lunceford’s two-season run, with several confrontations between the two women.

Her departure comes alongside that of Phaedra Parks, who will also not return for Season 11. Parks is expected to rejoin The Real Housewives of Atlanta following Kenya Moore’s exit.
