🍗🔥 KFC Brings Back Potato Wedges & Hot & Spicy Wings After Fans Demand Their Return

KFC is giving the people exactly what they want — and social media is eating it up.

On Aug. 11, the fast-food giant announced that its beloved potato wedges and hot & spicy wings are officially making a comeback, thanks to what they call “obsessive demand” from fans. Starting Aug. 18, both items will be available nationwide — but only while supplies last.

KFC dropped the news with a no-chill post on X that read, “HERE, DAMN.” The follow-up? “You asked (a lot), and we listened. Wedges are back.”

Fans have been begging for the return of the crispy, seasoned wedges ever since their 2020 disappearance, flooding social media with comments and even petitions. A surprise test run in Tampa, Florida, earlier this year sold out fast, proving the wedge obsession is still real.

The potato wedges first hit KFC’s menu in the mid-1990s, becoming a cult favorite through the 2000s before their hotly debated removal. Now, after five long years, they’re back alongside hot & spicy wings — which haven’t been seen in almost two years.

Customers can grab wedges as a side, swap them in for any other side, or go for the new six-piece wings and wedges combo. And for those wondering — yes, KFC’s Secret Recipe Fries are still sticking around.

Better move fast, though — these throwback favorites won’t be around forever.
