JR Smith Calls Out Cam Newton for Hosting Dwight Howard‘s Ex Royce Reed on Podcast To Push Gay Allegations
Former NBA star JR Smith is calling out Cam Newton after the former NFL MVP allowed Royce Reed, ex-partner of NBA player Dwight Howard, to appear on his “Freaky Friday” podcast. During the interview, Reed made allegations about Howard’s sexuality, which sparked controversy.
Smith voiced his displeasure on social media, saying, “Respectfully this is hella corny @cam bringing on a black woman to kill a black man is never cool don’t care who’s right or wrong. All clickbait ain’t good clickbait. This ain’t love.” The comment was a direct response to the podcast episode, where Reed discussed the rumors surrounding Howard, accusing him of being involved in a gay relationship.
Cam Newton quickly responded to Smith’s critique, stating, “@teamswish Call it what you want… Respectfully. I don’t go back and forth in comments… I ain’t hard to find sir.”
