Hot 97’s Ebro Apologizes To Tinashe Calling For Her “Light Skin With A Ghetto Name”
Ebro Darden has apologized for his comments towards Tinashe after a 2013 interview resurfaced online where he called her “light-skinned with a ghetto name” and claimed it was a joke. Ebro says, “Can we just point out how she’s light skin with a ghetto name?” Rosenberg corrects him and says her name isn’t ghetto and it’s an African name. Additionally, Tinashe tells the morning show hosts that her name is Zimbabwean, meaning “We have God.”
