Finesse2Tymes Back Behind Bars 😬 | Hit With Multiple Drug Felonies After Dallas-Fort Worth Arrest
Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes, born Ricky Leshay Hampton, is once again facing serious legal trouble. The “Back End” hitmaker was arrested in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and booked into Harrison County Jail on October 20, 2025, where he’s being held on multiple drug-related charges and a felony count for tampering with evidence.
Known for his gritty Southern flow and hustle-heavy anthems, Finesse2Tymes now finds himself in one of the most serious legal situations of his career.
According to Harrison County jail records, he’s facing several counts connected to the possession of controlled substances, marijuana, and prohibited items inside a correctional facility. Authorities claim he was caught with drugs from multiple penalty groups, possibly including ecstasy, hallucinogens, cocaine, or fentanyl.
The tampering with evidence charge suggests the rapper may have attempted to hide or destroy materials during the investigation. He’s also facing an additional felony for possessing banned items while in custody — a separate offense under Texas law.
Records list:
- Two counts under Penalty Group 2 (typically involving ecstasy or hallucinogens)
- Two counts under Penalty Group 1 or 1-B (usually cocaine, opioids, or fentanyl)
- Misdemeanor possession of under two ounces of marijuana
- Possession of a dangerous drug (often unauthorized prescription meds)
As of now, no bond has been set, and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Finesse2Tymes remains held without bail, awaiting his next court date.
This arrest adds another chapter to the 33-year-old’s rollercoaster career — from street-certified come-up to mainstream breakthrough and now another run-in with the law. Finesse2Tymes has previously spoken about his past incarcerations, often flipping his pain into powerful lyrics about resilience, survival, and redemption.
However, with several felonies now hanging over his head, this latest case could be his toughest battle yet. Neither the rapper nor his legal team have released an official statement.
