Dwyane Wade’s Son Zaire Wade Arrested On Felony Domestic Violence Charges, Posts $50K Bond

Zaire Wade, the eldest son of NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested on multiple felony charges in California.

According to reports, Zaire Wade was arrested by the Burbank Police Department early Sunday morning and booked on charges of felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. Authorities also issued an emergency protective order following the incident.

Police were reportedly called to a residence around 5:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a woman screaming. When officers arrived, they allegedly found Zaire and a woman who had visible lacerations to her face and body.

Although the woman reportedly sustained injuries, she was not transported to a hospital.

Following his arrest, Zaire was released later that day after posting a $50,000 bond.

At this time, authorities have not released additional details regarding the alleged incident, and the case remains under investigation.

Zaire Wade, the oldest son of NBA legend Dwyane Wade, gained national attention during his basketball career at Sierra Canyon High School alongside several top recruits. Rather than play college basketball, he pursued a professional career, spending time with the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League before continuing his career overseas in South Africa and Macau.

Neither Zaire Wade nor the Wade family has publicly commented on the arrest.
