Grammy-nominated rapper Desiigner is facing more legal trouble after being arrested once again in South Carolina following an alleged domestic violence incident.

According to police reports, the rapper, whose real name is Sidney Royel Selby III, was taken into custody Wednesday in Horry County on multiple charges, including second-degree domestic violence and several counts of malicious injury to property.

Authorities say the incident occurred at a residence in the Conway area after an argument reportedly broke out between Desiigner and a female acquaintance over televisions being removed from a wall.

The woman allegedly told investigators that during the dispute, Desiigner grabbed her cell phones and smashed them with a hammer. Fearing for her safety, she reportedly ran outside while carrying a child and screamed for help.

According to the report, the woman sought refuge near a neighbor’s home, where she claims Desiigner allegedly grabbed her and threw her to the ground before taking her handbag and tossing it over a fence.

The situation reportedly escalated further when the woman managed to run into the neighbor’s residence and lock herself inside a bathroom. During that time, authorities allege Desiigner used a hammer and screwdriver to damage vehicles belonging to the neighbor.

The arrest marks the rapper’s second domestic violence-related case in Horry County this year.

Back in March, Desiigner was arrested on a third-degree domestic violence charge stemming from another alleged altercation at the same residence. According to court documents, he was accused of pulling car keys from the same woman’s clothing and throwing her to the floor, leaving her with minor injuries.

Desiigner has previously faced other legal issues as well. In 2023, he was arrested in connection with an incident aboard an international flight after federal authorities accused him of indecent exposure.

The Brooklyn rapper rose to fame in 2016 with his chart-topping hit “Panda,” which earned him a Grammy nomination and has since amassed more than a billion streams worldwide.
