Chris Brown has reportedly been granted bail by U.K. authorities following his arrest earlier this month in connection to an alleged assault case.

According to The Sun UK, the chart-topping singer was granted bail after a new application was submitted to Southwark Crown Court in London. The court approved his release under strict conditions, including a massive £4 million (approximately $4.5 million) bail payment.

As part of his bail terms, Brown must reside at a specific address provided to the court. He’s also prohibited from contacting his co-defendant, Omolulu Akinlolu, or the alleged victim, Abe Diaw. Furthermore, while international travel is permitted for work purposes, Brown must surrender his passport to the police each time and have it returned only through his legal representation.

The singer is facing charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm in what has been described as an “unprovoked attack.” His plea hearing has been rescheduled to June 20.
