Capital Preparatory Charter Schools Announces The End Of Their Partnership With Diddy. Dr. Steve Perry, the founder and head of the schools, made an official announcement.
In a statement posted on the school’s official website,
“Following a comprehensive evaluation, a decision has been made to end the partnership between Capital Preparatory Schools and Sean Combs. While this decision was not made lightly, we firmly believe it is in the best interest of our organization’s health and future.”
Diddy was involved in the launch of the charter school’s Harlem location in 2016, and in 2021, he made a $1 million donation that went towards the school’s Bronx location.
