😳 Brandy Checks Shyne Real Quick — “We NEVER Dated!” + Addresses Ray J’s Rant

Looks like Brandy is setting the record straight — and she’s not leaving any room for confusion.

After Shyne went viral for claiming they dated back in the late ‘90s during his appearance on It Is What It Is with Cam’ron and Ma$e, Brandy came through with a firm response.

Taking to social media, the R&B icon made it crystal clear — there was NO romance.

“In the late 90’s, I had a platonic friendship with rapper Shyne… we did not date,” she stated, shutting down the narrative completely.

Brandy also questioned why the story is being reshaped now, more than 20 years later, especially as Shyne continues his media run.

She went on to explain that situations like this are exactly why she’s preparing to tell her own story in her upcoming memoir, “PHASES,” where she plans to address misconceptions and speak her truth directly.

But she didn’t stop there…

Brandy also addressed the viral rant from her brother, Ray J, who recently went off on Cam’ron, Ma$e, and Shyne for discussing her name.

While she showed love, she made it clear she doesn’t support how he handled it.

“I love my brother Ray J, but I don’t condone or support the messages he’s shared,” she said, emphasizing that she prefers to handle situations on her own terms.

Brandy also reminded fans that she rarely speaks out publicly — but when she does, it’s to set the record straight herself.

With her memoir PHASES set to drop March 31, it looks like this is just the beginning of her reclaiming her narrative and clearing up years of speculation.
