Bhad Bhabie is pushing back hard against reports that she’s racked up over $674,000 in unpaid credit card debt.

The 22-year-old rapper and internet personality, born Danielle Bregoli, responded after People reported that American Express had filed a lawsuit against her in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The credit card company accuses her of breaching a credit agreement by failing to repay a substantial balance.

In a statement to The Shade Room, Bhad Bhabie dismissed the claims, saying, “Shit not true. Where do they get this shit from?”

According to court documents, American Express extended credit to her in April 2021, but alleges she stopped making payments in December 2024. The complaint states that she agreed to repay all charges, fees, and interest either in full each month or through scheduled payments. The company is now seeking the full balance, citing breach of contract.

The legal battle comes on the heels of Bhad Bhabie’s much-discussed financial success, especially from her OnlyFans career. The rapper previously claimed to have grossed over $71 million on the platform, with approximately $57 million in net earnings. She famously earned $1 million within the first six hours of joining in 2021, and said she generated more than $38 million before taxes in under a year.

Though she revealed her monthly income dropped from $18 million to under $1 million by late 2023, her estimated net worth still sits at $35 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. She’s built a brand that spans beyond music, thanks to savvy business deals and her online presence.

With this lawsuit now looming, Bhad Bhabie appears intent on protecting her public image and her financial reputation. As the case moves forward, all eyes will be on whether she can shut down the credit card company’s claims—or if the controversy dents her multi-million-dollar empire.
