“They were on me every day,” Armeen shared. “They believed it had the potential to be our next radio single.”

But life took a heartbreaking turn.

Before the song was ever finished, both Ruben and Trex passed away — leaving the track suspended in time. The loss changed everything, and when Armeen finally returned to the record, the lyrics took on a whole new meaning.

“Ironically, they both passed before I could finish the song, so some of the lyrics became a direct tribute to them,” he explained. “This record is my way of honoring the two people who believed in it—and in me—before anyone else.”
