According to Mills, a former manager once told her that Gaga was a huge fan of “Home,” her signature song from the Broadway production of The Wiz. At the time, Gaga was reportedly doing a fashion photo shoot in New York City, and Mills was asked to surprise her by performing the beloved song.

Mills admitted she initially rejected the idea, questioning why she would agree to do it. However, she eventually changed her mind and went through with the performance.

But according to Mills, Gaga’s reaction was not what she expected.

“She didn’t smile. She didn’t do anything,” Mills alleged, recalling that Gaga looked at her as though she had two heads. The experience apparently left a lasting impression on the veteran performer.

Mills also claimed she was not paid for the appearance. Instead, she said the arrangement included taking photographs with Gaga’s photographer after the performance.

However, Mills alleged that as she and her team were preparing to leave, they were instructed to delete all the pictures they had taken. She further claimed that they were not allowed to leave until the photographs had been deleted in front of Gaga’s representatives.
