A Westland couple got the shock of their lives after checking their home security cameras — and realizing their landlord appeared to be using their house for way more than repairs.

According to Javon Crawford and his wife, they believed their landlord had stopped by the property to handle maintenance issues and remove dead birds from the attic.

But when Crawford’s wife received motion alerts from the home security camera, what she saw left the couple completely stunned.

Instead of repair work, the cameras allegedly showed the landlord inside the residence with another woman — getting very comfortable directly in front of the couple’s security system.

The bizarre incident quickly turned into a viral conversation online after details of the situation began circulating on social media.

Many users were outraged, calling the landlord’s alleged behavior disrespectful and inappropriate, especially inside a tenant’s home.

Others joked that the security camera “caught the real maintenance appointment” while some questioned whether legal action could follow over privacy concerns.

The couple says they were completely blindsided by what appeared on the footage, especially because they believed the visit was strictly related to home repairs.
