The internet is cutting up over a resurfaced clip from the debut episode of Maury Povich’s podcast, On Par With Maury Povich, where the legendary talk show host playfully called out his wife, veteran journalist Connie Chung, for her past Hollywood hookups.

During the episode, which originally dropped in March but has just now gone viral, Maury didn’t hold back. As Connie recounted her rise to fame in California, Maury cut in with:

“You became a big star… and you kinda messed around with stars.”

When she pushed back, Maury threw out the bombshell name: Warren Beatty.

“You know what my sister said about Warren Beatty?” Maury added. “Every woman who came to California had to go through him. It was like an immigration system.”

Connie laughed off the jab, admitting Beatty did have a thing for women journalists. But that wasn’t all—Maury also revealed she once messed around with a member of The Eagles. Connie said she didn’t even realize he was in a famous rock band until he played “Hotel California” for her.

While the revelations had fans gagged, Maury later clarified that he and Connie weren’t exclusive at the time. Still, the unfiltered banter between the couple—who’ve been married since 1984—had social media locked in.

Fans are now flocking to Maury’s podcast, with many saying if he’s going to spill tea like this on episode one, they’re locked in for the ride.
