Judge Tells Diddy “Stay Put” — Bail Denied Again as He Awaits Sentencing on Mann Act Conviction

Sean “Diddy” Combs just got hit with another legal setback — the judge in his federal criminal case has denied his request for bail for the second time, keeping him locked up until sentencing.

On Monday, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled there were no “exceptional reasons” to let the music mogul out before his October 3 sentencing. Diddy is currently being held at MDC Brooklyn following his conviction on multiple Mann Act charges.

Diddy’s legal team had filed a fresh motion for bail last week, arguing that he’s “probably the only man in America behind bars” for allegedly hiring and transporting male sex workers across state lines for his girlfriend. They claimed there’s no binding legal precedent to justify keeping him jailed before sentencing.

But the judge wasn’t convinced. He pointed out that prosecutors presented evidence of “violence, coercion, or subjugation” tied to the acts of prostitution, which made Diddy’s case different.

The court also addressed concerns over MDC Brooklyn’s conditions, noting staff had managed to keep Diddy safe — even during what was described as “an incident of threatened violence from an inmate.”

Bottom line? Diddy’s not going anywhere until October, and the clock is ticking toward a sentencing day that could define the next chapter of his life.
