Boosie Badazz Accepts Plea Deal in Federal Gun Case

Published

Boosie Badazz is facing a new chapter in his long-running legal saga. Over the weekend, the Louisiana rapper revealed that he’s officially accepted a federal plea deal in connection to a gun charge.

Boosie — real name Torrence Hatch Jr. — first caught the weapons charge back in 2023, but that case was dismissed, giving him hope he could finally move on. Unfortunately, the feds had other plans. In 2024, a new indictment dropped, putting Boosie right back in the legal crosshairs.

On August 4, Boosie took to Twitter to break the news:

“JUST ACCEPTED A PLEA FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON MY GUN CASE. I THOUGHT THIS CASE WAS OVER N I WAS GOING TO GET ON WITH MY LIFE BUT ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES’ N IM TIRED OF FIGHTING.”

While he didn’t share the exact terms of the plea, Boosie’s tone made it clear he’s ready to put the courtroom battles behind him. The rapper’s legal team hasn’t commented yet, but fans are already flooding his mentions with prayers, encouragement, and reminders to stay focused.

Boosie has long been open about his run-ins with the law and how they’ve shaped his career. Now, with the plea deal in place, all eyes are on what comes next — and whether this marks the end of yet another Boosie courtroom chapter.
