Tyson Beckford Recalls Getting Into Fight Outside Bad Boy Office and Threatening To Shoot Diddy

Legendary model Tyson Beckford opened up today on The Breakfast Club about a long-rumored street altercation involving himself and members of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s Bad Boy crew, revealing it was far more intense than previously assumed.

Beckford says he was casually chatting with a friend outside a Fifth Avenue tattoo shop when fashion stylist Groovey Lew, part of Diddy’s inner circle, approached and demanded he pose for a photo with a woman. Tyson declined, continuing his conversation – and Lew responded by swinging at him, igniting a physical fight  . Beckford claims he “beat the brakes” off Lew, though he sustained a head wound requiring six stitches. An NYPD officer briefly appeared but left after both sides brushed off the conflict.

The situation escalated when Lew retreated to fetch Diddy and several others from the nearby Bad Boy offices. Once outnumbered, Beckford says he retrieved a pistol-grip Mossberg shotgun from his Land Cruiser. Pointing it at Diddy, he warned:

“Puff, you going to get it first… I’m going to shower the rest of y’all with it.”

Beckford reflected that this moment could have ended much worse:

“I could have saved the world a whole lot of trouble and took him out back then… But then where would I be?”

Though the confrontation didn’t turn bloody, it left a permanent impression. Tyson says he hasn’t seen Diddy in years, but assures: “he know — don’t mess with me.”
