Missy Elliott and Ludacris just took futuristic transportation for a spin — and brought all the laughs and Atlanta flavor with them. The rap legends teamed up with Uber and Waymo to test out a self-driving ride, and their experience inside the AI-powered vehicle was anything but boring.

In a newly released promo clip, Missy and Luda are seen hopping into a Waymo robotaxi — no driver, just vibes. “Somebody controlling this thing,” Missy joked as the car smoothly handled turns and even slowed down for a speed bump. “It’s switching lanes all quick!”

Missy, ever the innovator, was both impressed and curious: “Wow. Ain’t nobody I’m here but us. Luda say a Uber, I just wanna know how it recognizes all these different Peachtrees in Atlanta. You got Peachtree Street, Peachtree Circle, Peachtree Bend…”

Missy, laughing, chimed in: “That’s from the A. That’s a joke from the A!”

The two legends also took a moment to reflect on their musical history. Missy gave Luda his flowers, calling their “One Minute Man” collaboration one of his best verses ever. Missy responded with her signature humility and humor.

As for what Missy Elliott tracks the Waymo should bump while cruising? Missy’s pick: “Lose Control,” of course.

The commercial ends with the duo joking about their next stop: “Next time we’re stopping at the liquor store,” Missy quipped. “Waymo, I holler!”

With this hilarious and nostalgic campaign, Uber and Waymo are blending hip-hop culture with cutting-edge tech — proving that even in a driverless future, the ride still needs the right soundtrack.
