Dawn Richard Testifies in Diddy Trial: Witnessed Violent Assault on Cassie With Frying Pan Filled with Eggs

As the fifth day of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial concluded, a shocking revelation stunned the courtroom. Dawn Richard — a singer and former member of Danity Kane and Dirty Money — took the stand with an explosive account of violence allegedly committed by Combs against his former partner, Cassie Ventura.

Richard testified that in 2009, while working on music at Combs’ Los Angeles home with fellow artist Kalenna Harper, she witnessed a disturbing episode. Cassie was in the kitchen cooking when Combs entered in a rage, reportedly shouting and demanding to know where his food was.

“He was screaming, belligerent, asking where his food was,” Richard said. “He told Cassie she couldn’t get anything right and tried to hit her with a skillet of eggs.”

She continued: “She fell to the ground, and he started kicking her before dragging her upstairs by her hair, wrapping his arm around her neck.”
