The Game Loses Calabasas Mansion to Settle $7M Judgment in Sexual Assault Case

Rapper The Game has officially lost ownership of his multimillion-dollar Calabasas estate after a Los Angeles judge approved its sale to help satisfy a $7.13 million judgment awarded to Priscilla Rainey, the woman who sued him for sexual assault in 2015.
According to All Hip Hop: The ruling, issued by Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 2, 2025, marks a major development in a case that has spanned nearly a decade. Rainey accused The Game—real name Jayceon Taylor—of sexually assaulting her during the filming of his VH1 reality show She’s Got Game. Although the rapper denied the allegations, he failed to appear in court during the 2016 trial, leading to a default judgment in Rainey’s favor.
The jury awarded Rainey $1.13 million in compensatory damages and an additional $6 million in punitive damages, citing the rapper’s apparent disregard for the legal process.
The Calabasas property, currently valued at approximately $4,037,500 according to Zillow, was the latest asset Rainey targeted in her aggressive pursuit of the judgment. While The Game claimed the home was protected under California’s homestead exemption, arguing it was legally owned by JTT Holdings LLC, the court sided with Rainey. She successfully argued that JTT Holdings was a shell company created by The Game and his longtime manager Wack100 to shield the estate from seizure.
The judge ruled that while The Game may have an equity interest in the LLC, that does not grant him legal ownership of the property, clearing the way for its sale.
Rainey has already seized some of The Game’s music royalties and other assets tied to his businesses and intellectual property. Even if the home sells at market value, The Game would still owe her nearly $3 million to fulfill the court’s judgment.
This ruling is a significant victory for Rainey after years of legal wrangling—and a stark reminder of the financial consequences of ignoring the judicial process.
