Val Kilmer, Iconic Actor of ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Batman Forever,’ Dies at 65
Val Kilmer, the versatile actor beloved for his roles in Top Gun (1986) and Batman Forever (1995), has passed away at the age of 65. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed the news to The New York Times, revealing that he died from pneumonia on Tuesday, April 1. Kilmer had been battling throat cancer since 2014 but had previously recovered.
