Memphis Police Charge Jayden Dandridge with Murder in Shooting of Sauce Walka’s Artist Sayso P
Memphis police are intensifying their efforts to track down the gunman responsible for the deadly shooting of Sauce Walka’s artist, Sayso P, and the injury of Sauce Walka. Authorities released a photo of 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge on Wednesday and have issued a warrant for his arrest, charging him with 1st-degree murder, two counts of employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and auto theft.
The shooting occurred outside the Westin Hotel in downtown Memphis, where Sayso P and Sauce Walka were ambushed in broad daylight over the weekend. Sayso P tragically lost his life, while Sauce Walka was shot in the leg.
Through hours of surveillance footage analysis, investigators were able to pinpoint Dandridge as a suspect. They also recovered the stolen white 2021 Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack used in the crime.
Memphis police are urging anyone with information about Dandridge’s whereabouts to call 901-528-CASH, with a potential $6,000 reward for tips leading to his arrest.
