Roberta Flack, Legendary Soul Singer, Dies at 88

Roberta Flack, the iconic Grammy-winning soul singer best known for her soulful interpretations of romantic ballads like “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” has passed away at the age of 88. The news was confirmed by her publicist, Elaine Schock, who shared that Flack died on Monday at her home, surrounded by her family.
Flack’s extraordinary career spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry. Her rendition of “Killing Me Softly” became a timeless classic and remains one of her most celebrated works. Over the years, she collaborated with various artists and earned critical acclaim for her smooth voice and poignant lyrics.
