Plus-Size Rapper Dank Demoss Sues Lyft for Alleged Discrimination

Detroit-based rapper Danke Demoss has filed a lawsuit against Lyft, claiming that a driver denied her service due to her size.

According to Demoss, the driver refused to let her enter the vehicle, allegedly stating that the car’s tires and suspension wouldn’t be able to handle her weight. The rapper, who is known for advocating body positivity, has called the incident a clear case of discrimination.

“This was humiliating and hurtful,” Demoss said in a recent interview. “I’m tired of people thinking they can treat plus-size individuals like we’re less than human.”

Demoss is now seeking legal action against Lyft, alleging that the company violated her rights by failing to provide adequate service and allowing discrimination to occur. Lyft has yet to respond publicly to the allegations but responded via social media.
